Toxicology

Toxicology (from Greek τοξικόν toxicon = poison for arrows and λόγος logos = study) is a branch of biology, which deals with the study of the adverse effects caused by various chemicals or physical agents on living organisms, or, in other words, the science of poisons and toxins.
